Hi Chinazor, thanks so much for your comment. Yes definitely try reducing the cocoa if this wasnt to your taste. Cocoa is quite strong and dark so can be a bit over powering. Just replace the amount of cocoa you remove with the same amount of flour. Reducing sugar can affect the texture of a bake and less sugar can also mean a dryer cake. However, you could try replacing some of the sugar with ground almonds, which will help with the texture and the taste. Do let me know how it goes! Thanks for the tip to leave the muffins to cool before removing them from the casings.

Can i leave out the cocoa powder and maybe cut down on the sugar? It makes my muffins bitter.
