Homemade Dips
Homemade dips and dressings:
Homemade dips and dressings using fresh ingredients. How to prepare and store. My preferred methods for serving and keeping these recipes looking and tasting fresh. Perfect for party food, at Christmas or any time of year.
My favourite dip is hummus: With plenty of tahini and garlic. I particularly love beetroot hummus. My top tip is to shell the chickpeas before blending to make an ultra smooth hummus.
Pesto is also extremely handy to keep in the fridge to mix with pasta or chicken or to drizzle over a mozzarella salad. I particularly love my celery, apple and walnut pesto - perfect in the autumn and for using up leftover celery leaves.
Homemade curry pastes are also a favourite of mine. You can't beat making a curry from scratch and my simple, blender tikka masala paste really makes it super easy to whip up a homemade curry.
